Race 7A : Ron Gee Enterprises Iron Trail 23km Handicap
This event is a 23 km handicap trail race held at the Wild Mersey Mountain Bike Trails, Latrobe Trailhead, Latrobe TAS, Australia on 14 June 2026. Entry to PCCCT races requires membership (season or single race) and competitors must be at least 15 years old; nominated time events are available for younger competitors.
The race is self-supported. Runners must carry a minimum of 1 L water capacity, a compression bandage, a survival blanket, a thermal top, and a pea-less whistle. A mobile phone preloaded with the Emergence Plus app and the St John First Aid app is required or recommended. Water to refill bottles is available at a marshaled turnaround point; runners must fill their own bottles and disposable cups are not permitted. All rubbish must be carried to the finish.
All runners must clean shoes at the provided wash station in the start area before starting. A tail runner will follow the last competitor on the return leg. The course is a public shared use trail; runners must give way to mountain bike users and be considerate of other trail users.
