North West Trail Running Series - Railton, Round 2

This event takes place on Sunday 9 August 2026 at 30 Giblin St, Railton. The courses use Wild Mersey MTB trails with flowing singletrack through forest sections. Road sections are included on the medium and long courses. The trails remain open to mountain bikers and are to be treated primarily as MTB trails.

Distances and elevation gains:

  • Short course: 5 km, 100 m gain
  • Medium course: 12 km, 220 m gain
  • Long course: 18 km, 380 m gain

Entry fees are set by course: short, medium and long have distinct prices and an additional fee applies for on‑the‑day entry. Cut off times are published per course and average pace targets are provided for each distance. Age rules apply by calendar year: the short course permits under 13s with an adult while the medium and long courses require older minimum ages.

There will be no on-course assistance. Free electrolytes are available at the start and finish area. Parking is allowed on nearby streets while observing local laws and resident access; one area will be reserved for event organisers. Course maps and GPX files are provided for each route.
