The Traprain Law Hill Race, organized by Carnethy Hill Running Club, is a 10.3 km (6.5 miles) multi-terrain event held in East Linton, Scotland, as part of the East Linton Gala. The course features paths, farm tracks, grass, and a river crossing over the River Tyne, followed by a steep rock scramble ascent of Traprain Law and a fast grassy descent. Runners finish within the Gala field, enjoying a community atmosphere. The race includes a total climb of about 220 meters and advises trail or studded running shoes. A winter trail race on 15 February 2026 at Balbirnie Park, Markinch, Fife featuring a 4 to 5 miles woodland route with mud and water crossings. All finishers receive a bespoke memento and prizes cover overall and age categories.
