The Trail Run At Indian Lake takes place on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Indian Lake County Park in Cross Plains, WI (8183 State Highway 19). Registration for the 2025 race is open. Listed entry fees are shown as $30 or $20, with a youth price of $10 for ages 0-20. A free kids run is offered and does not require registration. SWAG is opt-in; technical run gloves are available for an additional $15 while supplies last.

Course, services and race policies

Courses start in a restored sedge meadow in the wetlands around Indian Lake, a kettle lake formed during glacial retreat. Routes move from prairie paths into forest and dirt trails and include notable hills associated with the Driftless Region. Part of the route follows the Ice Age Trail. The event notes ongoing land work: Dane County Parks plans to purchase 300 acres south of the park boundary, and a 170-acre oak savanna restoration is in progress.

The event is cup-free: paper cups will not be provided at aid stations or start/finish. Water dispensers will be available at aid stations for refilling, and participants are responsible for bringing their own cup, bottle, or hydration bladder.
