The North Coast Race
The North Coast Race
The North Coast Race takes place along the coastline of Jersey, offering runners the opportunity to navigate cliff paths, rolling commons, and various viewpoints. The event features two distinct trail distances that utilize the natural terrain of the island.
The following distances are available:
- 20 miles
- 10 miles
The 20 miles course is the longest option, starting at St Catherines and finishing at Les Landes. The route includes sweeping coastal paths and climbs. Participants have access to two aid stations located at Bouley Bay and Devils Hole, plus an additional station at the finish line. There is a 6-hour cut-off time for this distance.
The 10 miles course starts at Les Fontaines and also concludes at Les Landes. This route consists of punchy climbs and sections of runnable coastal flow. One aid station is provided at Devils Hole. This distance has a 4-hour cut-off time.
Both courses are fully marked at decision points, and GPX files are provided for navigation. The event includes electronic timing and professional photography. All finishers receive a medal, and there is an option to include an event T-shirt. The race is open to runners of all speeds with no specific qualification requirements.
