Trail and Ale 2026

Trail and Ale 2026 takes place on September 19, 2026 at the Howard Watson Trail / Blackwell Trails entrance, 1285 Michigan Ave, Sarnia, ON. The event raises funds for Rayjon Share Care to support projects in Haiti and the Dominican Republic in education, health care and the empowerment of women.

Distance options include:

  • 5 km run or walk
  • 10 km run
  • 15 km run new extension of the 10 km route

The live event is timed; chip timing ankle straps and bibs are provided for on-site participants. A virtual option is available and can be completed between September 1 and September 18, 2026. Children 14 and under may participate in the 5 km free with a registered adult and receive a chip timer and a medal only. Virtual out-of-town participants cannot be shipped the race kit or beer; local pickup arrangements are noted.

Race kit and beer pickup is scheduled the day before at Refined Fool, 1326 London Rd in Sarnia, with additional pickup available the morning of the event for those unable to attend the prior day. Prizes will be awarded for top fundraisers and best finish times across categories. Participants aged 19 and over receive one local craft beer can with registration; the first 200 registered 19 and over receive a custom beer mug. The live event proceeds rain or shine; if the live event cannot proceed, participants will be transferred to the virtual option and refunds will not be issued.
