Tom Sawyer's Trial by Trail is a 10K trail race in Hannibal, Missouri on October 17, 2026. The course is held at Sodalis Nature Preserve and follows a mix of technical single track, double-wide dirt paths, and paved walking trails with measurable elevation gain.

The event is in its second year. Competition divisions include overall awards and 10-year age groups with top male and female awards. New for this edition are M/F Masters divisions for age 40 and older and a $50 cash bounty on the male and female course records. The overall male and female winners each receive a $100 cash prize. There is no stated age limit and the event uses a three hour cutoff for the course.
