Thumb Coast Ultra : Caseville and Harbor Beach, Michigan
The Thumb Coast Ultra is scheduled for April 25, 2026. The event offers multiple ultra-distance options that use rural roads across Michigan's Thumb region and involve both Caseville and Harbor Beach as race locations.
The event distances:
- 50 Mile - starts in Harbor Beach and finishes in Caseville
- 50 Mile Relay - relay teams start in Harbor Beach and finish in Caseville
- 50K - starts and finishes in Caseville
The 50 Mile and relay courses run from the Lake Huron shore at Harbor Beach to Saginaw Bay in Caseville. The route follows mostly dirt roads through the Thumb and will be marked with aid stations along the way. The event description notes generous cutoff times and additional prizes for 50 Mile finishers who finish before sunset.
Registration and entry policies are specified: no refunds will be issued within 30 days of the event. Earlier than 30 days, a request may be made for a 50 percent refund of the entry fee excluding processing fees. Entries cannot be deferred to another event year. Entries may be transferred to another individual for a $5 fee, with t shirt size unchanged. In case of event cancellation for reasons beyond the race committee's control, race packets including shirts will be made available at a later location to be determined.
