Thumb Coast Ultra

Thumb Coast Ultra & Relay is Michigan’s spring ultramarathon event featuring a 50 Mile, a 50 Kilometer, and a 50 Mile Relay. The point-to-point course runs from Harbor Beach on Lake Huron to Caseville (finish on the Caseville County Park beach), with the 50K serving as an out-and-back starting and finishing in Caseville. The route largely follows dirt and unimproved roads through open farmland and lakefront scenery, featuring about 500 feet of elevation gain on the 50 Mile and around 300 feet on the 50K. Fans and runners can expect generous cutoffs, well-stocked aid stations, and a special “beat the sun” finishers prize, with clear course markings throughout.
