The 50K is an out-and-back that uses mostly unimproved and gravel roads and has lower elevation gain (about 220 feet). The course is marked and includes multiple aid stations stocked with water, Tailwind, gels, and real food. Registration includes a custom jacket, bumper sticker, reusable silicone race cup, a finisher's medal, race photography, and post-race food. Early packet pickup is scheduled the day before at Thumb Brewery in Caseville. Cutoff times and an additional prize for 50 Mile finishers who complete the course before sunset are part of the event rules. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
