The Wauhatchie Trail Race
The Wauhatchie Trail Race is a scheduled trail running event in Chattanooga, Tennessee, organized by the Chattanooga Track Club and set for February 6, 2027. The event is listed as a 6.7 mile trail race that uses hilly gravel and dirt roads plus rough double-track trails on the lower slopes of Lookout Mountain. The elevation change from the start/finish to the highest point is 410 feet.

The event is conducted as an age and sex handicapped race; males aged 20 to 29 serve as the baseline group while other age and sex groups receive handicap head starts. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three masters in male and female categories.
