The Trail Running Series - Anglesea
The Trail Running Series - Anglesea is the second event in a three-part Victorian trail running series. Located on the Surf Coast approximately 90 minutes from Melbourne, the event features a variety of off-road courses that transition from coastal heathland to rugged cliff-top trails. The race has been part of the regional running calendar for 16 years.
The event village includes amenities such as live music, barista coffee, and food trucks to support a social atmosphere for participants and spectators. The courses are fully marked and supported.
Participants can choose from four distinct distances:
- 4 km "Friendly" course designed for first-timers and families
- 8 km Short Course
- 16 km Medium Course
- 27.6 km Long Course
The long course option includes more technical terrain for those seeking a longer duration on the trails. Entry fees start at $69 per race, with early bird pricing available for those who register before April 1st. Athletes also have the option to register for the Gold Runner Package, which covers all three events in the series and includes a limited-edition beanie for the first 350 registrants.
