Stonehenge Stomp 2026

The Stonehenge Stomp is scheduled for Sunday 25 January 2026 and will be the 36th running of the event. It is organised as a walking event that also welcomes runners; it is not a race. The routes give views of Stonehenge. The event usually sells out within days and participant numbers are limited.

Routes, entry and event services

Routes are fully marked and route instructions are provided. Refreshments are available at regular checkpoints. Distances offered include:

  • 20 km
  • 30 km
  • 40 km

Entry will open in late 2025 and the entry link will be published on the event website and on social media. Only online entry will be accepted; postal entries are not accepted and there is no on-the-day entry. Join the New Forest Xmas Trails on 7 December 2025 for a festive run through heath and woodland in the New Forest. Fully marked single lap courses from 15km to 50km start at Holmesly Campsite and you can plant a tree instead of a medal.

Join the WRNL Wimborne Christmas Run on Monday 15 December for a festive 60 minute score orienteering challenge around Leigh Park. Find 26 controls worth 500 points, then warm up with mince pies and hot drinks afterwards.
