Event overview

The Stonehenge Stomp is scheduled for Sunday 25 January 2026 and will be the 36th running of the event. It is organised as a walking event that also welcomes runners; it is not a race. Entry opens on 1 November 2025. Participant numbers are limited and entry is online only; postal or on-the-day entries are not accepted. Route instructions and refreshments are provided at regular checkpoints.

Trail runs nearby

Join the New Forest Central Trail Run at Roundhill Campsite for 10km, 17km or 22km routes through ancient woodland and heath. Enjoy undulating gravel trails, roaming ponies and a plastic free event with water, medals and chip timing.

Explore Bath Skyline with day and night 5k and 10k races plus a 500m kids run and dedicated canicross wave on 15 and 16 November. Trail surfaces, glow stick night routes and finishers medals create a scenic family friendly weekend.

Roly's Run is a scenic Meon Valley trail loop from Swanmore via the South Downs Way, offering 15.5 mile, 21.5 mile and a tough 40 mile option. The event is full and new entries are placed on a waiting list.

Enjoy a small 8 mile trail race through the stunning Avebury World Heritage Site in Wiltshire, weaving past ancient stone circles and rolling countryside. Organised by Marlborough Running Club, this popular November event often sells out.
