The Pub to Pub : Lancefield (21 September 2025)

The Pub to Pub is a community running event set in the Macedon Ranges on the Federation Trail, a car-free track linking Romsey and Lancefield. The event finishes at the Lancefield Hotel and includes an event village with food and drinks. The event is fully timed using net time and uses bibs fitted with timing chips; bibs will not be posted and must be worn on the front during the event.

Race formats, course and event services

  • 1.5 km - Junior Bolt for children over 2 and under 12 years
  • 7.5 km - Pub to Pub from 1860 Romsey to Lancefield Hotel
  • 15 km - Pub to Pub to Pub round trip between Lancefield and Romsey

There are two drink/aid stations on course, including one at Boundary Road about halfway between Lancefield and Romsey. Wave starts are used for the 7.5 km and 15 km events to space participants by expected pace. A shuttle bus is available between Lancefield Hotel and Romsey for Pub to Pub participants. Event services include course marshalling, timing and results, an official finisher 2025 glass with a complimentary drink, a finish-line BBQ snack, medical support based at the event village, official event photos, and parking in both towns. Rules note no bikes and no dogs on the course (assistance dogs excepted); children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult for the longer distances.
