The Pena Passage at Lagoon Valley Park
The Pena Passage is the inaugural trail race held at Lagoon Valley Park in Vacaville, presented by Altra. The courses run through rolling hills, a lagoon, single-track trails, shaded oak groves and fire roads inside the park.
Courses are offered in multiple distances:
- 30K with technical trails, climbs and descents, six hour time cut off.
- 10K with more rugged sections and added elevation.
- 5K on gentler terrain with some single-track.
- Kids 1K untimed fun run focused on movement and finish line energy.
Each course is marked and supported with aid stations. Aid stations may provide electrolyte drink, energy gels and chews, pretzels, Oreo cookies, water, M&M’s, bananas and watermelon.
Race shirts are long sleeve tech tees with sun defense and moisture wicking fabric. To be guaranteed a shirt and specific size, registration must be completed by May 15, 2026. The event lists community partnership with NAMI Solano County. Packet pickup is scheduled at Fleet Feet Vacaville and at Lagoon Valley Park on the days before and of the race.
