The Old School @ Lincoln Parish Park takes place on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Lincoln Parish Park, 211 Parish Park Road, Ruston, LA 71270. The event is produced by Get On A Trail Shreveport LLC with support from local sponsors and a Ruston-based charity. This is the fifth year of the event. Entry uses tiered pricing and the organizer notes the base price did not increase from the prior year.

Course and logistics
The course is a trail route with mud and dirt terrain. Aid stations are located at the start/finish area and on the course at about mile 4 and mile 6. Food will be served at 10:45, mainly for 10- and 20-mile participants; 5-mile participants will be offered a pastry or muffin and a cold beverage. There are no age group awards. RV sites and campsites are available at the park; listed rates are $45 per night for RV sites and $25 for campsites. Participants who register after March 15, 2025, may not receive a race shirt.
