The Next Loop Endurance Series - Lake Carl Blackwell, Stillwater
The Next Loop Endurance Series is a loop-based trail event held on a clearly marked 3.1 mile (5K) loop at Lake Carl Blackwell Park in Stillwater, OK. Runners begin a new lap on the hour, complete as many laps as they choose, and each finished loop counts toward their total distance.
Distances achieved by completing loops:
- 1 loop = 5K
- 2 loops = 10K
- 4 loops = Half Marathon
- 9 loops = Marathon
- 10 loops = 50K
Each loop is timed from the top of the hour to the finish, and final results rank participants by number of loops completed and combined total time. There are no cutoffs that cancel earlier loops; completed loops remain part of a runner’s official result even if the athlete stops later in the day.
