Liberty's Lost Treasure is a trail running event held on the Lake Liberty Trail near Guthrie, Oklahoma. The main loop is 7.8 miles of single-track trail that circles the lake. The 5K uses an out-and-back layout while the other distances use one or more full loops.
Distances:
- 5K - out and back course
- 12.5K - one full 7.8 mile loop
- 25K - two full 7.8 mile loops
- 50K - four full 7.8 mile loops
The 50K has a ten hour cutoff. There is one aid station located approximately four miles into the course; that aid station does not allow crew access. Crew and personal aid stations are allowed only at the start/finish area near the trailhead and adjacent campsites and beach area.
Finishers receive distance-specific belt buckles or medals, and additional overall awards are given to first male and female finishers in each race. Event amenities listed include race photos, fully stocked aid stations, post-race meals, and participant t-shirts; hoodies are available for separate purchase.
A ruck division is offered with minimum weight rules based on participant body weight, trekking poles allowed, no consumables counted toward required weight, and no podium awards for ruck entries; ruck finishers receive a finisher medal and a custom Velcro patch.
Participants are responsible for their own safety. Local EMS will be utilized for medical emergencies and race rules require no littering and that animals remain leashed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
