Midwest Ultra Trail Classic - Knob Noster, Missouri
The Midwest Ultra Trail Classic is the inaugural multi-distance trail running event held at Knob Noster State Park on the Opossum Hollow Trail in Knob Noster, Missouri. The event offers looped distances that reuse the same 10K course for longer totals.
The course is a 10K single-track loop with technical terrain from start to finish. Runners should expect winding forest trails, rolling hills, exposed roots and rocks, creek crossings, and approximately 550 feet of elevation gain per loop. Each additional distance adds one more 10K loop.
All runners start together and return to the Start/Finish area every 10K. A fully stocked aid station is available at Start/Finish, and aid access occurs every 10K. Personal coolers and gear may be kept at the Start/Finish area; no drop bags are necessary. Crew access is permitted at the Start/Finish area only and is not allowed on the course. The event is professionally timed, pacers are not allowed, and all finishers receive a finisher medal; a race shirt is included with registration.
