The Maverick Suffolk Gravel 2026 is a trail running event on Saturday 28 November 2026 at Wantisden Hall, Wantisden Park, Fenn Row, Wantisden, Woodbridge, Suffolk (IP12 3PQ). The event is organised by Maverick Race and takes place in the Suffolk Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, an area that includes national nature reserves and multiple Sites of Special Scientific Interest. The course runs on woodland trails that are described as very flat and a bit sandy in places. The event village and start are about two hours from central London by road.

Outposts: no outpost on the Short route; the Middle route has two outposts (approx 6 km and 11 km); the Half Marathon has two outposts (approx 6 km and 18 km). Outposts offer snacks, gels and electrolyte. There will not be pre-filled cups of water; runners should use a reusable cup or bottle to fill from self-serve water barrels.

Logistics and rules

Facilities include free parking, a fully marked course, timing and online results, event photography, food and drink, bag drop and a finisher medal. Toilets are available at the start/finish only. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult. Organisers ask that runners aim to finish within four hours. Transfers out are allowed once; the last day to request a transfer is the Monday before the event. Headphones are strongly not recommended.
