The Maverick Suffolk Gravel 2026

The Maverick Suffolk Gravel run takes place on 28 November 2026 at Wantisden Hall, Fenn Row, Wantisden, Woodbridge, IP12 3PQ in Suffolk. The routes pass through the Suffolk Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and include forest and sandy trails that run through largely unspoilt landscape and designated wildlife areas.

There are three route options:

  • 23 km Half Marathon
  • 16 km Middle
  • 9 km Short

Routes are described as very flat with minor elevation gain and are fully marked. Outpost provision varies by route: no outpost on the Short route, two outposts on the Middle route (around 6 km and 11 km), and two outposts on the Half Marathon (around 6 km and 18 km). Outposts provide snack items, gels and electrolyte top-ups; water is self-serve from barrels so runners should carry a reusable cup or bottle.

Facilities at the venue include free parking, toilets at the start and finish area, bag drop, event photography, online results, and finishers medals. The event is fully timed and the course is marshalled. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult. The event is dog friendly provided a dog is added to the entry.
