Great Volcanic Mountain Challenge
The Great Volcanic Mountain Challenge is a mountain trail running event on Gaanha Bula - Mount Canobolas near Orange in the Central West of New South Wales. It is scheduled for March 2026. The event is presented as a run/walk that crosses three peaks and passes through native forest.
Course and event details
The main course includes a total ascent of 520 m over 11 km. The event framework also includes a separate Family Trail Run and course maps are provided for both the GVMC course and the Family Trail course.
