Lonely Mountain Ultra returns for its fifth year on 26 September 2026 at Mount Canobolas, Canobolas NSW, Australia. The event comprises multiple trail and ultra distances and includes events for children.

The course runs through the Canobolas State Forest on Gaanha-bula (Mount Canobolas) and uses fire trails, woodland singletrack and open pasture. The route includes sustained climbing to nearly 1,400 metres and offers views across the NSW Central West. The event lists separate entry options and registration windows for each distance.
