The Great CO74 Trail Run

The Great CO74 Trail Run is a community trail event centered on Kittredge Park that follows local canyon and neighborhood trails. The main route runs from Kittredge Park, down Columbine, through a stretch of private Kittredge land, along O'Fallon canyon trails, and returns to the park.

Event details include manual timing with a tripod timer and assigned bibs. Participants will be organized into small cohorts to meet O'Fallon Park entry guidelines; starts are staggered and finish times will be recorded. The first person across the line may not be the overall winner because of staggered starts. Prize categories will be announced ahead of the event.

Both runners and hikers are welcome; hikers will begin shortly after runners and should be comfortable maintaining a steady 20-minute mile pace. A post-race park gathering will feature food, drinks, music, and a kids run. Dogs are allowed.

Registration details are provided for adult and kids entries. Adult registration includes a trail hat, running club support leading up to the race, lunch, post-race rehydration and snacks, a post-run sauna and cold plunge in Bear Creek, local discounts, day-of perks, and a donation to flashing crosswalk signs. The kids entry includes snacks, prizes, a donation to flashing crosswalk signs, and a kids run based on age.

Run club meetups are scheduled for March 29, April 12, and April 26.
