The New Gemini 100 - Smyrna, GA

The New Gemini 100 is a multi-distance running event held on the Silver Comet Trail in Smyrna, Georgia. The course uses a paved five mile out-and-back loop with a straight layout and orange markers along the route. The trail is a no-litter zone and is not lit during evening hours, so participants are expected to use a headlamp for low light conditions.

There are two aid stations located at the start and at the halfway point, stocked with hydration and energy options; the organizer can be informed in advance about specific dietary restrictions. Awards include a customized brass buckle for the 100 mile finish and awards for finishers of fifty miles and shorter distances, and all entrants receive race swag. Volunteers who complete a full eight hour shift receive current year swag and free entry to the following year. The event has a no refund policy but allows transfers between distances. Proceeds will be used for donations to local homeless communities, and donations of socks, underwear, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and similar essentials are accepted.
