Event Information

The Eckington Epic is a self-guided trail race held in North Derbyshire. The race takes place around Eckington and Marsh Lane, just south of Sheffield.

The Route

The course covers a distance of 7 miles. It goes through woodlands, fields, and farmlands in the Moss Valley area. The route includes woodland trails, rolling farmland, and easy bridleways. There are views towards the Moss Valley and the edges of the Peak District. The course contains runnable sections and some climbs.

Race Format

The event is self-guided. Runners receive written instructions to follow on the day. There are no GPX files provided and no marshals on the route. Participants are responsible for their own safety.

A ladies only trail half marathon in Sutton Scarsdale following a scenic out and back route under the April full moon. Enjoy campfire refreshments and a supportive atmosphere while raising funds for Women’s Aid.
