About the race

The Dam Loop is a 20-mile running event held at El Dorado State Park in El Dorado, Kansas. Scheduled for June 7, 2025, the race consists of a 4-mile loop that participants complete five times within a 6-hour time limit. The course starts and ends at the Amphitheatre and prohibits bicycles, vehicles, roller skates, skateboards, baby joggers, and animals.

Runners are required to wear headlamps, as the event may extend into low-light conditions. One aid station provides hydration, but no cups are available, encouraging runners to bring their own hydration solutions. The event also offers relay options for teams of three or five.
