Course and logistics
The course uses an approximately 10K loop through mature forest with rocky ridges, large pine stands, and a river along the property edge. Each loop gains close to 1000 ft of elevation.
Participants will use an indoor check-in area at the start/finish in a historic dining hall with a stone fireplace and wood beam ceilings. Drop gear and nutrition can be kept inside and participants enter and exit through the dining hall each loop. Aid station provisions include water, electrolyte drink mix, and snacks; participants are asked to bring their own gels and fuels, as aid station offerings may not cover all caloric needs for longer events.
