Trail Running in Echo Bluff and Current River State Parks

The Bluffs Trail Runs take place in the scenic surroundings of Echo Bluff State Park and Current River State Park near Eminence, Missouri. This event features a variety of distances held on trail surfaces, including single track paths and routes providing views of the bluffs, local vegetation, and the Current River.

Participants can choose from several individual and team distances:

• 26.2 Miles (Trail Marathon) - A two-loop course covering the half marathon route twice.
• 26.2 Miles (Marathon Relay) - A two-person team event where each member completes a 13.1-mile lap.
• 13.1 Miles (Trail Half Marathon) - A course passing through both state parks.
• 13.1 Miles (Half Marathon Relay) - A team event for two participants.
• 9.3 Miles (15k) - A route featuring 360-degree views of the bluffs and river scenery.
• 6.2 Miles (10k) - A course with views of rolling hills located near the park lodges and cabins.
• 3.1 Miles (5k) - A shorter distance suitable for running or hiking.
• 1 Mile (Youth Fun Run) - A dedicated distance for children aged 10 and under.

The event follows a cupless policy to reduce waste. All participants are required to provide their own hydration vessel, such as a bottle or pack, to use at those stations along the course.
