TARC Spring Classic

Event overview

The TARC Spring Classic is a trail running event held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Jericho Town Forest in Weston, Massachusetts. Distances offered include:

• 10K
• Half Marathon
• Marathon
• 50K

Entry across the paid distances is $25; a free youth fun run is offered and discounted youth entries are available for those 19 and under. Online registration closes before race week and no race-day registration is offered. The event maintains a no-refund policy; pregnancy deferral to a future year is described in the event policies.

Course and navigation

The event uses a bespoke 10K loop that is described as relatively flat and smooth. Longer distances repeat the loop and include additional trail segments to approach the advertised distances; exact distances are not guaranteed. The loop start/end area hosts the course’s only aid station. The course will be marked with flagging and signs at major intersections. Participants are asked to follow the marked route; going off course requires backtracking and GPS files may be reviewed. Sweepers will remove course markers during the afternoon. Runners must start their final loop by 2:15 PM and be finished by 4:00 PM.

Aid station, parking and rules

There is one aid station per 10K loop at the start/finish area. The race is cupless; participants must bring their own hydration system. Aid station offerings are vegan friendly and include hydration, fruit, packaged snacks, sandwiches, chips, and pickles. Parking is in a grassy field at the start/finish with additional street parking possible; carpooling is recommended. Pacers are not allowed; crew access is limited to the start/finish.
