Course, aid station and policies

The course uses a bespoke 10K loop on marked trails; longer distances repeat or add distance to approach their nominal lengths. The route is described as relatively flat and smooth. Flagging and signs mark the trails and a GPX file is available for download; participants who go off course must backtrack and may be subject to review of GPS files. There is one aid station at the start/finish for each 10K loop. This is a cupless race, so participants must provide their own hydration. The aid station lists vegan-friendly hydration and foods such as fruit, dried fruit, snack bars and cookies, candy, chips, sandwiches, vegan quesadillas, and pickles.

Online registration closes at the beginning of race week and no race day registration is offered; the event typically sells out. The entry fee is $25 for all distances except the free youth fun run. There are no refunds or transfers. Pregnancy deferrals are allowed for up to two years. Pacers are not allowed; crew access is limited to the start/finish area. The event follows Leave No Trace principles and is held on land originally home to the Pawtucket and Massachusett people. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
