Sydney Trail Series - St Ives

The event uses the trails of St Ives Wildflower Gardens and nearby Ku-ring-gai National Park. The terrain includes bush tracks, some steep and technical sections on the long course, and scenic single track along Cowan Creek. The race hub is at St Ives Showground, where there is ample parking and nearby bus stops at Mona Vale Road at Rosedale Road and opposite St Ives Showground. Participants are advised to check public transport timetables for details.

Race day arrangements include bib collection for long and short courses and on-day entries that close before each race. Aid stations are positioned on each course and provide supplies along the route. Cut-offs apply on the long courses at Aid Station 2 Warrimoo Trail / Timbarra Road: a 3.5 hour cut-off at 18.7 km applies to the 24 km course, and a 4.5 hour cut-off at 24.7 km applies to the 30 km course.

A recovery area at the finish offers fruit, Tailwind Nutrition and water, and there will be bacon and egg sandwiches from the BBQ. A presentation follows the races; prizes are awarded to the first three male and female finishers in each event. Series prizes are given at the final race to the top three total times for entrants who entered an eligible series bundle and completed all required races.
