Stevi's Roost 48 Hour Ultra is a multi-day endurance event taking place on a private pine forest farm in Sylvania, Georgia. The event begins on a Friday and concludes on a Sunday, offering a total duration of 48 hours. Participants are permitted to start their run at any time during this window and may complete as many or as few miles as they choose.
The event features a 2.71 mile loop course. The terrain consists of wide, hard-packed grass surfaces. While the course is generally flat, there is approximately 140 feet of elevation gain per loop. The race is chip-timed to track participant progress throughout the weekend.
Participant Information
This event is open to runners and walkers, and also includes a canicross option for those running with dogs. Specific regulations for canicross include:
- Dogs must be at least 12 months old and leashed at all times.
- Participants must use specific equipment including harnesses, belts, and bungee lines.
- Waste must be cleaned up by the owner.
The venue allows for small campers and tents, though no hookups are provided. As a cupless and pack-in, pack-out race, participants are responsible for taking all their personal trash home.
Awards and Amenities
Every participant who completes at least one loop receives a hand-crocheted finisher gift. Runners who reach a total of 100 miles or more over the weekend are awarded a belt buckle.
Organizers provide various hot meals throughout the event, including dinner on Friday, three meals on Saturday, and breakfast and lunch on Sunday. A standard aid station buffet is also available.
