Course and race details

The course is a 2.71-mile loop on flat, wide, hardpacked grass with minimal roots and about 140 feet of elevation gain per loop. The race is chip timed. Porta potties will be available. Small campers and tents are allowed on site; no hookups are provided. This is a cupless event and all trash must be taken home.

Participant amenities and rules

Organizers provide aid station foods, meals, and hydration, with gluten-free and vegetarian options. Typical meal planning includes a Friday dinner, soups overnight, multiple hot meals on Saturday, and breakfast plus lunches on Sunday; crew food can be purchased in the event store. All dogs are welcome under canicross rules: dogs must be leashed, use a harness, belt, and bungee line, be at least 12 months old, and owners must clean up after them. Fishing and non-motorized paddling are allowed in the pond; hunting is not permitted on the property.

Awards and entry notes

Any participant who completes at least one loop receives a hand-crocheted finisher gift. Participants who reach 100 miles or more during the weekend receive a finisher award and a belt buckle.
