Sri Chinmoy Sydney Series - Royal National Park
The Sri Chinmoy Sydney Series concludes its four-event annual calendar with a trail running event held at the Royal National Park, located south of Sydney. This series finale transitions from road and park surfaces to a bush setting, featuring courses that immerse participants in the forest environment.
While other events in the series typically offer three distances, the Royal National Park event provides a full suite of four classic trail distances:
- Marathon (42.2 km)
- Half-Marathon (21.1 km)
- 10 km
- 5 km
The start and finish area, along with participant parking, is situated near Fig Tree Flat (also referred to as Willow Tree Flat), past Audley. Use of the National Park requires a vehicle admission fee. Alternatively, a shuttle van service is available from Loftus Station for a fee to transport runners to the venue.
The courses follow natural terrain, with the Half-Marathon involving an out-and-back section along Lady Carrington Drive. All races utilize a wave start system. Awards are presented across various age categories, including Under 13 and Under 17 for the short distance, and Under 50, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and Over for the longer distances.
Registration is available online until the Friday evening prior to the race. On-the-day entries are also accepted at the venue for an increased fee during the early morning check-in period. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
