SOS - North Parramatta

SOS - North Parramatta is a Saturday Orienteering Series event held at Lake Parramatta Reserve in North Parramatta, NSW. The event uses orienteering maps to guide participants through parkland and urban bushland around the lake.

Participants may go solo, team up with others, or take a relaxed family route. Events provide clear maps, beginner friendly courses, and on site guidance. Entrants may run more than one course on the day.

Course options include Warm Up, Short Line, Long Line, and Score. SPORTident electronic timing is used for all courses; timing card hire is available for A$4 per entrant for those without a personal card.

Standard entry pricing is shown for adults and school students, with a member discount of 15 percent available through the event promo code. A A$2 late fee applies for entries submitted after the midday cutoff on the Thursday before the event. A free Buddy Ticket is available for adults who wish to accompany a young or inexperienced orienteer without receiving a personal timing chip or map.

Meeting point is on Illawong Drive on the grass reserve near the end of the peninsula beyond the cafe. What3Words location is ///sport.tricks.nets. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
