Big Day Brewing 2026 Spring Trail Running / Walking Series

The series runs from May 14 to June 18, 2026, at Great Glen Trails in Gorham, New Hampshire. Events are organized as a recurring spring trail series with both series entries and one time race options.

Online registration is preferred and has no fee to register online. In-person registration is available at the Great Glen Trails Shop on the first floor of the Base Lodge. Series entry fees listed for 2026 include an adult series entry for $55 and a junior series entry for $25. One time race entries available on-site are listed at adult $12 and junior $6.

Participants check in with the timing crew in the courtyard area before starting; runners are asked to be courteous and patient with the timing crew. Racers must start from a standstill at the starting line. Wearing a watch to note personal time and splits is suggested.

The course layout varies each spring. Participants may run or walk the following course options:

  • 5 km long course
  • 3 km short course
  • 1.5 km mini course

Well behaved dogs on leash are welcome on the course. Participants are expected to pick up after their dogs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Trail runs nearby

A trail half marathon in Gorham, NH that runs mostly on singletrack through the Coös Trails Network and starts and finishes at Big Day Brewing. Proceeds support Coös Cycling Club stewardship and aid stations are planned.

A chip-timed trail 5K plus 1-mile fun and walk events at Whitaker Woods on May 9, 2026, run on wooded single and double track with varied terrain. Proceeds benefit White Mountain Community Health Center.

A community 5K in Bethel, ME presented by HealthReach Community Health Centers to support after school programs for K-12 students. The event has an in person race on May 16 and a virtual option May 1 to May 16; under 18 entries are free.

A muddy trail event of roughly 13.1 miles around Jericho State Park in Berlin NH that is open to trail runners this year as well as mountain bikers. Proceeds support Coös Cycling Club trail maintenance and youth cycling programs.
