Spit Happens 20K
Spit Happens 20kms - Manly to Spit Bridge
Scheduled for 5 September 2026 in Manly, Sydney, this group run goes from Manly to the Spit Bridge and back. The turnaround is at the top of the Gallipoli stairs just past the Spit Bridge, which provides a concentrated section of stair running.
Distances offered:
- 20 km route from Manly to Spit Bridge and back
- 10 km option finishing at the top of the Gallipoli stairs
Start and finish are in Manly and the meeting point will be provided before the event. The format is a non competitive group run with no race pressure. The event notes reasons participants may attend, including marathon or ultra training, recovery after the Sydney Marathon, or completing a weekly long run.
Early bird entry fees are listed as 20 km $85 and 10 km $65. The course is fully marked and there is an aid station at the turnaround. Event photography is included and coffee will be available after the run. Information is presented as an organized, supported outing rather than a timed competition.
