Space Pirate 100

Event details

The Space Pirate 100 is a set of ultramarathon events held on the Florida Space Coast and Treasure Coast, centered at Port Canaveral / Cape Canaveral and finishing near Jensen Beach. Distances offered:

• 100 Miler
• 100 Mile 3-Person Relay
• 50 Miler
• 33.3 Miler

Event entry is limited to 100 runners. Registration closes on Fri, Feb 20. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the main race at Banana River Park, 901 Puerto Del Rio Dr, Cape Canaveral, FL. Professional race timing is provided by MCMTiming. There are no refunds of registration fees; a one-time deferral may be offered in some circumstances.

Format and course

All events are designated support crew only. The 100 Mile event starts at Manatee Sanctuary Park in Cape Canaveral and finishes on the beach near Jensen Beach; finishers receive a finisher's buckle and there is a 31-hour cutoff. The Astro Waverider 33.3 Miler and the 50 Miler start at Pepper Beach Park, Fort Pierce, and run toward Jensen Beach. The 100 Mile 3-person relay allows teams to set their own strategy; teammates do not need to split mileage equally and can cover extra distance for a struggling member.
