SoCal Ultra Trail at Tejon Ranch

SoCalUltraTrail at Tejon Ranch is a trail running event organized by SoCalTrail on private land at the Tejon Ranch Equestrian Center in Lebec, CA. The event features multiple distances across a course routed entirely on fire roads and open to daytime and night running on fully marked trails.

• 100k Tehachapi - 61.6 miles with 12,002' elevation gain
• 50k Grapevine - 32.3 miles with 5,651' elevation gain
• 25k Castac Lake - 15.86 miles with 2,858' gain
• 11k Foothills - 6.96 miles with 944' gain

The routes traverse canyons, creeks, mountain terrain and sagebrush plains, passing through ecosystems with ancient oaks, seasonal wildflower displays and distant desert vegetation. Wildlife sightings may include elk, wild turkey, mule deer, wild boar, black bear, bobcat, coyotes and raptors. The 50k and 100k routes climb the Grapevine switchbacks, with a steep section gaining about 3,200' in 4.8 miles; the 100k reaches roughly 6,150' elevation.

Event services include multiple aid stations with some drop-bag access, chip timing with same-day results, live GPS tracking, professional medical support, finish-line announcers and a festival area with hot meals and a beer garden for guests 21 and older. Overnight camping is available for tents, vans and RVs, and nearby hotel rooms are offered at an event rate.
