Smash Sherwood returns for 2026 as a running event at Sherwood Pines Forest Park in Edwinstowe, Mansfield (NG21 9JL) on 17 May 2026. Registration fees start from £15 and specific race fees are listed for each distance.

Race distances and entry requirements:

  • 5k - age 14 or older; fee £25
  • 10k - age 15 or older; fee £30
  • 16k - age 16 or older; fee £40
  • Junior Race - age 4 or older; fee £15; adult chaperone included

On-site registration requires an electronic confirmation. Participants receive a race bib, timing chip and safety pins. Race belts are permitted and emergency contact details should be added to the timing chip.

On-site parking is available and car sharing is encouraged. Public transport options such as train or local bus services can be used to reach the Forestry England site.

Event facilities include Forestry England toilets, additional portaloos on the event field and a café open to participants and spectators. Finishers receive a medal and a t shirt.
