The course covers 100 miles with approximately 15,000 ft of ascent and is offered with a generous 50 hour time limit. The event is organised by Stable Adventures and includes live tracking, emergency medical cover, well-stocked checkpoints, drop bag access, a sleep station, GPS/GPX route files, and experienced support crew. Finishers receive a limited edition belt buckle and a finisher's medal.
Participants must be 18 or over on race day. A mandatory kit list is enforced; required items include appropriate footwear (trail shoes recommended), water bottles (minimum 1 litre total), a charged mobile phone, downloaded GPX/GPS files, a headlamp or other light source, waterproof top and trousers, warm clothing, a survival bag, a compass, and adequate food reserves (minimum 500 calories when leaving the start line or each checkpoint).
