Event Details
The Silent Pool 10km is an evening guided trail run. The run starts and finishes at the Silent Pool car park near Guildford.
Route
The route uses trails in the area, including sections of the North Downs Way and paths through Netley Heath forest. It passes the village of Shere, which features film locations. The terrain includes wide trails and single-track paths. The event takes place at dusk or at night, depending on the season.
Participant Information
The run is guided and the group stays together; it is not a race. Participants should be able to maintain an average pace of 10 minutes per mile (6 minutes per kilometer) on trails for a prolonged period. A full kit list is provided, and head torches are available to trial for night runs. The event costs £16 per person. A car park is available at the start.
Additional Notes
