The Sherwood New Year 10k, 5k & Junior Run takes place on 18 January 2026 at Sherwood Pines, Edwinstowe, Mansfield, Nottingham, NG21 9JL. The event is organised by Nice Work and is an in-person race on multi-terrain, undulating forest trails in Sherwood Forest. Route maps, including GPX files, are available for download.

Entries, prices and eligibility

Advance entry prices are listed from £7 to £25 depending on the event. On-the-day entry fees (subject to availability) are listed as: 10k £30, 5k £25, Junior Run £7. The 10k is open to entrants aged 15 and over on 18/01/2026. The 5k is open to entrants aged 11 and over on 18/01/2026.

What is included and prizes

Entrants receive a bespoke medal and free photographs. Trophies and prizes are available for leading runners.

Transport and facilities
