Sherwood New Year 10k, 5k & Junior Run : event details

The Sherwood New Year event is a forest running event at Sherwood Pines, Edwinstowe, Mansfield, Nottingham, NG21 9JL. The next edition is scheduled for 18 January 2026. The event includes a bespoke medal for finishers, free photographs, and trophies and prizes for leading runners. On-the-day entry fees, subject to availability, are listed as: 10k £30, 5k £25, Junior Run £7. Parking is available at the event and the parking fee is included in the ticket cost.

Public transport options list bus numbers 14 or 15 from Mansfield bus station to Kirton or Walesby. Buses run every half hour Monday to Saturday and every hour on Sundays.
