Sherwood New Year 10k, 5k & Junior Run

The event is a forest running event held at Sherwood Pines in Edwinstowe, Mansfield, Nottingham. It takes place on undulating, multi terrain trails through Sherwood Forest and includes a junior race alongside the main distances. Detailed route maps and GPX files are provided for the courses.

Race entries include a bespoke finisher medal and free race photographs. Trophies and prizes are awarded to leading runners. On-the-day entry fees are listed for each distance and are subject to availability; fees noted are £30 for the 10k, £25 for the 5k and £7 for the junior run. Parking at the event is available and the cost is included in the ticket price.

Public transport options serve the area; buses numbered 14 and 15 run from Mansfield bus station towards Kirton or Walesby with a typical frequency of every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday and hourly on Sundays.
