Schuylkill Shuffle 5K, 10 Miler & Family Fun Loop

Schuylkill River Greenways organizes a walk and run event on Saturday, October 10, 2026, in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. All routes start and end at Pottstown Riverfront Park (140 College Dr.). The event offers multiple course options along the Schuylkill River Trail.

Distances and main course features:

  • 5K - starts in Riverfront Park; paved trail; turns before Old Reading Pike.
  • 10 Miles - starts in Riverfront Park; paved and crushed gravel sections; crosses the Douglassville Bridge.
  • Family Fun Loop - about 1 mile; paved and crushed gravel; strollers allowed; no pets.

The 5K course has no road crossings. The 10-mile course includes a few road crossings with support provided. Water stops are available along the routes. Registrations for the 5K and 10-mile events include a commemorative SRT beanie. The Family Fun Loop registration covers one adult plus two children under 12.

Packet pick-up is available at Pottstown Riverfront Park on race morning and at the Schuylkill River Greenways office at 140 College Drive on the day before the event. All proceeds from the run go to the Stewardship Fund to support trail maintenance, repairs, and long-term care of the Schuylkill River Trail. A community trail event at Paradise Farm Camps on June 11, 2026, offering a 5-mile run, a 5K, and a 1.5-mile family walk/run. All proceeds fund East Bradford Township's public trail program and trail development.

A last person standing backyard ultra at South Mountain Preserve with a 3.4 mile loop and 350+ ft of climb over rugged terrain. The event also features an evening Blackout one loop race and a beer mile.

A night trail relay in Paradise, PA where teams and solo runners try to complete as many loops as possible in about 3 hours and 24 minutes on a marked 2 mile course. Team batons, glow rings, headlamps and on site divisions are used.

Test your endurance on a 2 mile paved loop at the Rodale Park 12 Hour Challenge. Cycle, run, or walk to support the development of the September 11th National Memorial Trail.
