Obstacle Course Racing in Charlotte

The Savage Race returns to Charlotte, North Carolina, on June 6, 2026. This outdoor event takes place at 3900 Rocky River Rd and features a variety of physical obstacles integrated into a mud run format. Participants may encounter new obstacle designs introduced for the 2026 season.

Participants have two course options available on Saturday:

  • Savage Race: A distance of 5-7 miles featuring more than 25 obstacles.
  • Savage Blitz: A shorter course of 3+ miles with 15-20 obstacles.

The event includes a multi-race incentive known as the Syndicate medal. Runners who complete two or more courses earn this specific medal along with accompanying pins.

Logistics for the event include on-site parking for a fee of $20, payable at the gate. Registration pricing follows a tiered structure that increases as the event date approaches, with the final price change occurring the day before the race.
