Sar Wild Run

The SAR Wild Run is a family-friendly trail running and hiking event held at Shaver Lake, California, at an elevation of 5,400 feet. Scheduled for August 10, 2025, it features multiple distances including a Trail Half Marathon, 10K Trail Run, 5K Trail Wild Run, 2-Mile Hike, and a virtual option. The course offers scenic Sierra landscapes with meadows, forests, and streams.

The 5K includes a challenging mile-long scramble with switchbacks. Participants receive a technical shirt, unique Big Foot finisher's medallion, chip timing, and enjoy post-race BBQ and a beer garden hosted by the Fresno County Sheriff's Search and Rescue Team.
