San Lorenzo River Trail Run

San Lorenzo River Trail Run takes place on July 10, 2027 in Santa Cruz at Harvey West Park (Friendship Picnic Area), 103 Dubois St, Santa Cruz, CA 95060, United States. The event offers multiple trail distances and a short kids run.

Courses run through coastal redwood groves up to 300 feet tall and around trees estimated at 1,500 years old, and they pass lush stream canyons, open meadows, pine and oak forests, and chaparral-covered ridges. The Half Marathon, 30K, Marathon, and 50K courses cross the San Lorenzo River several times.

Distances are measured with a Rolatape surveyor's measuring wheel. Registration opens July 20, 2026; most race registrations close July 4, 2027, while the kids run and the Coastal Testing option allow registration on race day through July 10, 2027. Entry fees vary by distance, with a free kids event and a free Coastal Testing option.
