The Salt Flats Endurance Runs take place May 1-2, 2026 at Bonneville Salt Flats International Speedway in Wendover, UT. The event offers multiple race distances on the salt flats and surrounding terrain.

Course and format
All course starts and finishes are at the Bonneville Salt Flats Speedway. The route uses the same section of salt where land-speed records are set during Speedweek. Runners first cover about 13 miles of salt and about 3 miles of mud-flats before reaching the "Islands," mountain peaks that rise out of the flats. The 50K runs out to the "No Post" aid station at 15.5 miles and then reverses for an exact 50K. The 50 Mile, 100K and 100 Mile courses include rolling hills and connect two and four significant climbs, respectively. The 100 Mile course crosses into Nevada in an area noted for the Donner-Reed Party departure. All distances return to the start for the finish.
Time limits are provided for each distance, creating specific race durations for the 50K, 50 Mile, 100K and 100 Mile.
Other details
A 5K fun run began in 2021 and a 10K was added in 2026. The 5K and 10K use a simple out-and-back layout. Participants receive a tech shirt and bib; finishers awards will be added in 2026. Awards are given for the top three overall men and top three overall women in each distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
