Salt Flats Endurance Runs - Wendover, UT (April 30 - May 1, 2027)
The Salt Flats Endurance Runs take place at the Bonneville Salt Flats Speedway in Wendover, Utah, across April 30 to May 1, 2027. The event offers a range of distances on courses that use the same salt sections where land-speed records are set.

The main courses begin on the salt flats, include about 13 miles of hard salt followed by roughly three miles of mud-flats, then reach the "Islands," mountain peaks rising from the salt. The 50K uses an out-and-back to the No Post aid station at 15.5 miles for an exact 50K. Longer distances follow additional rolling hills and include multiple significant climbs; the 100K and 100 Miler cross into Nevada on portions of the route. All distances finish at the start area.
Organizers note that Bureau of Land Management rules prevent running on wet salt. Pre-approved salt-adjacent alternate courses are used when necessary; aid station distances remain the same on alternates. Participants in the 5K and 10K receive a tech shirt and bib number.
