Smoke Rise Trail Run - Huntsville, AL
The Smoke Rise Trail Run is a trail race at Blevins Gap Land Trust along Green Mountain in Huntsville, Alabama. The event offers multiple distances for individual entry:

- 10K
- Half Marathon two-loop course

Entries are limited by a hard cap of 250 runners. All entrants receive a t-shirt and a finisher medal; a guaranteed Smoke Rise t-shirt requires registration by April 29. The organizer will provide a post-race grill for participants.
This is a cupless race. Runners must carry a handheld bottle, pack, or reusable cup; a reusable cup is available at checkout for a fee. Aid stations will offer bottled water and individually wrapped snacks.
Cutoff times are specified: the 10K has a 2 hour 30 minute cutoff (about 24:08 min per mile). The half marathon cutoff is 3 hours 40 minutes (about 16:50 min per mile). The organizer states there are no refunds, deferrals, credits, or transfers, and shirts or medals are not mailed to absent participants.
Packet pickup is available at the RunningLane location at 2407 Memorial Pkwy SW, Huntsville and at the race site on the morning of the event.
