Running Wild 5K

Running Wild 5K takes place on Sunday, September 27, 2026 at Wickham Park, Pavilion 4, 2500 Parkway Drive, Melbourne, FL. The event offers an in-person trail 5K through Wickham Park and a separate virtual 5K option. No strollers are allowed on the trail.

Packet pickup and registration are available the day before at Running Zone (3696 N. Wickham Road) and on the event day at Wickham Park. Amenities listed for the event include finisher medals with a $5 discount for choosing no medal, unique individual awards, post-race food and refreshments, and random giveaways. The event benefits the Florida Wildlife Hospital.

Awards are given to the top 3 overall male and female finishers, top masters 40+ male and female, top 3 in multiple age groups for male and female (age groups span 8 & under through 80 and up), and a team award for the top three fastest teams (teams must have a minimum of five members and be co-ed). Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Standard fees are $35 for individual registration ($40 race day) and $20 for kids ($25 race day).
