Run Whiskey Run

Run Whiskey Run is a trail race held at Whiskey Run Trailhead near Bandon, Oregon, roughly 20 miles south of Coos Bay. The event uses a section of the Whiskey Run single-track trail system that is shaded, sheltered, rolling, smooth, and loamy. The start and finish are at the main Whiskey Run Trailhead.

Courses are 100% single-track trail and are not stroller friendly. Dogs are not allowed to run the course. Some trails were closed for logging and the course layout changed in 2025; projected and actual distances may vary.

  • 1.5 Mile (Shirley Temple)
  • 5 Mile (Whiskey Ginger)
  • 10 Mile (Double Shot; two loops of Whiskey Ginger)

The race supports the Wild Rivers Coast Mountain Bike Association. Day-of on-site registration and packet pick up are offered at the trailhead. Pricing is published as online and day-of rates with a student option; students may use the code Student2026 and are asked to bring exact change if paying on site.
