Event Overview
Run Upper Murray is a trail running event held in the town of Corryong. The course utilizes the network of ridgetop trails on Mount Elliot, a location situated approximately 940 meters above sea level. This mountain is a known site for paragliding and hang-gliding, located less than 10 minutes from the town center. Distance Options
Participants can choose from three distinct course lengths:
- 33 km: A single loop featuring 1,388 m of elevation gain through forests and farmland to the summit.
- 16 km: An out-and-back course with 735 m of elevation gain reaching the summit of Mount Elliot.
- 3 km: A short course with 75 m of elevation gain designed for participants aged 12 and under.
The longer distances involve steep track sections and significant elevation changes.
