Run Upper Murray
Run Upper Murray is a trail running event centred on Mount Elliot and the town of Corryong in the Upper Murray region. Courses run through farmland, native forests and along ridgetop trails, with views over Corryong.
- 33K 1388 m elevation. Single loop through farmland and native forests to Mt Elliot summit.
- 16K 735 m elevation. Out and back to Mt Elliot summit with steep descent.
- 9.5K 440 m elevation. Short course with punchy climbs and a technical descent off Mt Elliot.
- Kids 3K 75 m elevation. 3 km course for children 12 years and under.
Mt Elliot sits at 940 m above sea level and its network of ridgetop trails forms part of the race routes. Terrain descriptions include summit sections, steep descents and technical single-track.
The 33K and 16K events are official UTMB World Series Qualifier events and are registered with ITRA. All finishers earn qualifying points towards the UTMB Index and the ITRA Performance Index. Runners with a valid UTMB Index receive priority access to UTMB World Series events and Majors and entry into the UTMB World Series Finals lottery.
