Chilterns Summer 10km - Run The Wild
The Chilterns Summer 10km is a guided trail run in the Chiltern Hills. The event covers a distance of 10 km (approximately 6 miles) and takes place in the morning on 11th July 2026. It starts and finishes at Church Farm Cafe, Aldbury, where on-site parking, a cafe, toilets and a bag drop are available. The start is about a 15-minute walk from the nearest station.
Participants are grouped by ability and led by Run Leaders. The leaders provide trail running instruction, share local history during the route and will walk sections that are too steep. The organiser recommends participants can run 5 km without stopping. The event is dog friendly when runners use a cani-cross harness; collar running is not allowed.
Entry is limited to 50 spaces and the standard ticket price is £23. What is included: a Run Leader, bag storage and trail running instruction. Personal insurance and travel are not included. A mandatory kit list is provided by the organiser and must be followed.
Past participants reported that leaders gave useful tips, the route was enjoyable and leaders adjusted pace where needed for injured or slower runners. Registration and joining details are provided by the organiser after booking. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
