Run the Vineyards - Unionville 8K and 5K

The Run the Vineyards event at Unionville Vineyards in Ringoes, New Jersey, marks its 10th anniversary with a selection of trail races through the local scenery. Participants can choose between two main distances:

• 8K Race
• 5K Race

The trail courses take participants past rows of vines at the vineyard property. The event is chip-timed with live-streamed results available for both distances. Registration is open to all ages and walkers, provided they are registered to be on the course. A time limit of one hour is requested for the 5K, while the 8K has a requested limit of one hour and 40 minutes.

Included in the registration is a glass of wine for the post-race reception and a souvenir stemless wine glass. Participants also receive a custom tech t-shirt, with the option to upgrade to a long-sleeve version for an additional fee. Finisher medals are available for purchase either online during registration or on the day of the race while supplies last.

The post-race atmosphere features an awards ceremony for the top three overall finishers and age group winners in various categories ranging from 14 and under to seniors. A live musician performs during the morning, and a food truck is on-site providing meal options. Multiple water stations are located along the route, with bananas and water provided at the finish line. Free downloadable photos are provided for all participants.
